Reading
- Spelling Vocabulary Words: customers, raise, figure, afford, earn, contacted, block, spreading ** Words and definitions will be sent home on Monday. Students need to complete their sentences at home. You will keep this paper at home to use as a study sheet for learning the spelling and meaning of each word. Please return completed homework on Friday.
- We will read "Destiny's Gift"
- Our comprehension strategy this week will focus on characters and how they change throughout the story.
- The yellow packet will go home with comprehension questions to answer for the story we are reading. These packets are due back to school on Friday and will count as a homework grade. Parents, please be sure to check over your child's work and sign the cover page. In addition to the weekly story, an individual book related to the theme will be assigned to your child, in class, based on his/her reading level.
